How funklaunch works

Most launchpads pay whoever's fastest in and out. funklaunch pays the people who hold, and keeps everything else fair.

You've probably seen how a launch usually goes. Bots buy in the very first block. Insiders spread their buys across fresh wallets. Somebody sandwiches your trade. A whale dumps and the chart never comes back. The people who held the whole way get nothing.

funklaunch turns that around. Every piece of it starts from one idea: a launchpad should work for the people holding the coin.

funklaunch is built on woop. The woopcurve and the WAMM pool are woop's, and their rules run on-chain, so nobody can quietly change them.

Holding pays

Every curve trade pays 1.5%, and 0.6% of it goes to holders. Instant sells pay 10%, and holders get 4% of that. After graduation, holders get half of the WAMM pool's 1% fee for as long as the coin trades.

How much you get depends on how much you hold and for how long. Selling resets your clock, so sitting tight beats flipping. You're paid in the pair token, automatically, every hour.

Why it matters: people finally have a reason to stay, and coins with patient holders stick around. More in Hold-to-earn.

A fair start

Each coin begins with a 60-second fair start, which is one Fair Block. Every buy in it gets the same price, the creator's included. No wallet can put in more than 2% of the opening market cap, about $100, and instant trading waits until the minute is up.

Why it matters: there's no first block to snipe and no head start to grab.

Fair fills

After the start, you can send trades into a Fair Block. Orders gather for a few seconds and then all settle at one price. Buys and sells are matched against each other, and only what's left over moves the curve. While a block has orders in it, instant trades wait.

Why it matters: nobody can jump your order or trade around the block. More in Fair Blocks.

Big exits, no crash

An instant sell costs 10% and can take at most a fifth of what you hold, once a minute. Selling in a Fair Block costs 1.5%. Or drop your coins in the Exit Queue, where instant buys fill from your coins at the curve's price for 1% each side, so the price holds.

Why it matters: dumping is slow and expensive, and that 10% mostly goes to holders and the creator. The cheap ways out don't wreck the chart. More in Exit Queue.

Refunds when a coin fizzles

A coin that hasn't graduated 7 days after launch stops trading. What's left in the curve goes back to everyone who put money in, each in proportion to what they put in.

Why it matters: nobody wins from a dead coin, the creator included.

Creators win when holders do

Launching only costs about 0.03 SOL of network fees. Every creator gets a 1 SOL launch advance (their first 1 SOL of coins, paid back from their fees). Their coins stay locked until graduation, then release over 10 days or longer.

Creators earn 0.5% of every curve trade, a graduation bonus, and then 20% of the pool fee for as long as the coin trades.

Why it matters: a creator can't dump before graduation, and earns more when people hold. More in Creators.

Graduating to the WAMM pool

When the market cap hits $50k, the curve sells out and everything in it moves into the coin's own WAMM pool. There are no LP tokens, so the liquidity is locked for good. Each trade pays 1%, and half of that goes to holders.

Why it matters: nobody can pull the liquidity out from under you. More in The WAMM pool.

Tickers belong to whoever's first

The first coin to use a ticker owns it. Anyone can still use it after that, but it costs 1 SOL, and the 1 SOL goes to the first coin's holders.

Why it matters: copycats aren't free anymore, and each one pays the community it's copying. More in Ticker protection.

Know who you're trading with

Each coin page shows rug signals: wallets the creator funded, where the creator's SOL came from, the creator lock, snipers, and how much the top holders own.

Why it matters: you can spot an insider cluster before you buy, not after. More in Rug signals.

One trade, start to finish

  1. Open a coin page and type an amount.
  2. Choose Fair Block or Instant. An instant buy fills from the Exit Queue first, then from the curve.
  3. Sign in your wallet.
  4. In a Fair Block, your order settles alongside everyone else's within a few seconds, at one price, and the coins land in your wallet.
  5. From then on, every trade anyone makes in that coin pays you a share, until you sell.

No need to trust us

The rules live in woop's programs on Solana, not on our servers:

  • The curve, the pool, the fee split, Fair Blocks, the Exit Queue, refunds and the creator lock are all enforced on-chain.
  • Holder payouts are Merkle claims you can check for yourself.
  • Anyone can trigger a payout, a refund or a graduation, but the money can only go where the program sends it.

What funklaunch can't promise

  • Prices still move. Fair Blocks make trading fair, not risk-free.
  • A refund isn't everything back. You get the same share of what you put in as everyone else, after fees.
  • The creator lock covers the creator's own wallet. A creator could still buy from other wallets, which is why the rug signals show linked wallets.
  • Other apps can't route to woopcurve coins yet. Trade them on funklaunch.
