Exit Queue

Sell into buyers at the curve's price, never below your floor, for 1% each side.

Selling straight down a bonding curve hurts everybody. Each coin sells for less than the one before, so the seller gets less, and every holder watches a big red candle.

The Exit Queue is a gentler way out.

Step by step

  1. Queue your coins. In the trade panel choose Sell, then Exit Queue. Pick how many coins, and the lowest price you'll take: 2%, 5% or 10% under the current price.
  2. Buyers fill from the queue. Every instant buy on funklaunch fills from the coin's queue first, oldest order first, at the curve's current price. Only what the queue can't cover goes to the curve.
  3. You get paid as it fills. What your coins sell for comes to you automatically, in the pair token.
  4. Pull out whenever you like. Cancel your order and get your unsold coins back, plus anything the order earned.

Orders never fill below your floor. If the price dips under it, your order just waits for the price to come back. Orders don't expire.

Each fill happens at the curve's price right then, and a big sell just before can push that price down. So set your floor at the lowest price you're actually happy with, because you can get filled there.

Watching the queue

Each coin page has an Exit Queue tab listing every waiting order, how much is left, its floor and what it's earned. Your own orders sit at the top with a Cancel button.

Worth knowing

  • Only instant buys fill from the queue. Fair Block buys go to the curve, so on a quiet coin the queue can take a while to clear.
  • Two orders per wallet for each coin.
  • Creators can't use the queue. Their coins are locked until graduation.
  • Queued coins don't earn. They've left your wallet, and queuing counts as selling for your time held. More in Hold-to-earn.
  • The queue only works on the curve. Once a coin graduates, open orders stop filling. Cancel to get your unsold coins back, then trade them in the WAMM pool.
