Rug signals

What every signal on a coin page tells you, and how to read them together.

Every coin page shows signals about who holds the coin and how they got it. None of them proves anything alone, so read them as a set.

Who funded whom

creator

The fair start is one Fair Block at one price, so there’s no first block to snipe or bundle.

What the woopcurve already blocks

  • Snipers and bundles. The first 60 seconds are one Fair Block at one price, so there's no first block to win.
  • The creator dumping. Creators can't sell on the curve, and everything they buy gets locked.
  • Pulling the pool. The WAMM pool has no LP tokens, so its liquidity can't be taken out.

What it can't block is one person buying from lots of wallets. That's what the signals below help you catch.

Dev wallet clusters

A cluster is a group of wallets that look like the same person: funded from the same place, or buying together at launch.

The coin page shows how much of the supply these wallets hold:

  • Insiders: wallets the creator funded.
  • Bundlers: wallets that bought at the exact moment of the first trade.
  • Snipers: wallets other than the creator's that bought within 10 seconds of launch.

On the woopcurve, snipers and bundlers should be close to zero, because the fair start leaves nothing to snipe.

Reading it: if one cluster holds a big share, one person can sell a lot at once. The bigger the share, the bigger the risk.

Who funded whom

funklaunch checks where each big holder's SOL came from. If it came from the creator, or from a wallet the creator funded, that holder gets linked to the creator.

Reading it: lots of top holders funded from one wallet suggests one person spread their buys out to look like many buyers. The fair start caps each wallet at 2%, so this is how someone would try to get around it.

Creator lock

Every woopcurve coin shows Creator lock: Locked. Whatever the creator buys goes into a lock instead of their wallet. It stays there until graduation, then releases an equal part each day over 10 days, or longer if the creator picked a longer lock or a cliff. A lock can be extended but never shortened.

Reading it: look at how long it runs and how much is in it. A long lock is a good sign, though not a guarantee.

Top-holder share

How much of the supply the 10 biggest wallets hold, not counting pools.

Reading it: a high share means a handful of wallets can swing the price hard. Check the holder list too: one wallet holding 30% is a different risk from ten wallets with 3% each.

Dev holds

How much the creator's wallet holds right now, as a share of supply.

Reading it: before graduation this sits near zero, because the creator's coins are in the lock, so read it together with Creator lock. After graduation, keep an eye on it as the lock releases.

Curve and Graduated

How close the coin is to graduating, or whether it already has.

Reading it: a graduated coin trades in its WAMM pool, and nobody can pull its liquidity. Before graduation, check the deadline: a coin that doesn't graduate within 7 days refunds everyone.
