Glossary
Every term you'll bump into in these docs, in plain words.
| Term | What it means |
|---|---|
| Bonding curve | The price formula a coin trades on before it graduates: buying pushes the price up, selling pulls it down. funklaunch uses the woopcurve. |
| Claim | A transaction that pays out what you've earned. |
| Cliff | An optional wait in the creator lock, after graduation, before anything releases. |
| Coin treasury | The coin's own account, where holders' fees collect before they're paid out. |
| Creator fee | The creator's cut: 0.5% of curve trades, 3% of instant sells, 0.25% from each side of Exit Queue fills and 20% of the WAMM pool fee. |
| Creator lock | Every coin the creator's wallet buys stays locked until graduation, then releases an equal part each day. |
| Exit Queue | Where sellers line up their coins. Instant buys fill from it at the curve's price, for 1% each side. |
| Fair Block | A few seconds of orders that all settle together at one price. Matched buys and sells don't move the curve. |
| Fair start | A coin's first 60 seconds: one Fair Block, one price for everyone, and a cap on each wallet. |
| Floor | The lowest price a seller will accept in the Exit Queue. |
| Graduation | The moment the woopcurve sells out and the coin moves into its WAMM pool. |
| Graduation bonus | 0.4% of the raise, paid to the creator at graduation out of funklaunch's share. |
| Hold-to-earn | Holders earn a slice of every trade, weighted by amount × time held. |
| Instant | Trading right now instead of in a Fair Block. Buys fill from the Exit Queue first, then the curve. |
| Instant sell | Selling right now: 10%, at most a fifth of your position each time, once a minute. |
| Launch advance | The creator's first 1 SOL of coins, paid back from their creator fees. No real SOL goes in. |
| LP tokens | Tokens that let someone pull liquidity out of a pool. WAMM pools don't have any. |
| Merkle claim | A payout checked against a root posted on-chain, so anyone can verify it. |
| Pair | The quote token a coin trades against, and what holders get paid in. |
| Price impact | How far your trade moves the price. |
| Raise | What a coin takes in on the curve before graduating: about $12k. |
| Refund mode | What happens to a coin that hasn't graduated 7 days after launch: trading stops and what's left in the curve is shared back. |
| Rug signals | Info on a coin page about who holds it and how they got it. |
| Sandwich | A bot buying right before your trade and selling right after, at your expense. |
| Ticker protection | The first coin to use a ticker owns it. Anyone else can use it for 1 SOL, which goes to the first coin's holders. |
| Time held | How long you've held without your balance dropping. Selling resets it. |
| Top-holder share | How much of the supply the 10 biggest wallets hold, not counting pools. |
| WAMM pool | woop's pool, where a coin trades after graduation: 1% a trade, with liquidity locked for good. |
| woopcurve | woop's bonding curve, which funklaunch is built on. Coins open at a $5k market cap and graduate at $50k. |
